Tom Brady-Fanatics flag football event relocating amid Middle East tensions

· Yahoo Sports

Tom Brady’s return to the field just got rerouted. The legendary quarterback was set to headline the Fanatics Flag Football Classic in Riyadh on March 21, but escalating conflict in the Middle East changed those plans.

Airstrikes and travel restrictions across the region forced organizers to scrap the original location and look elsewhere.

The three-team tournament built around Brady has generated plenty of buzz as flag football continues gaining traction globally.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the relocation is essentially locked in now.

The event is heading to Los Angeles and will likely take place at BMO Stadium, the same venue scheduled to host flag football during the 2028 Olympics.

The event was designed to blend NFL legends, current stars, and entertainment figures into something different from the standard pro format.

Instead of a traditional setup, this one runs 40 minutes split into two 20-minute halves on a 50-yard field. Twenty-four participants will be divided into three teams of eight.

Fox Sports and Tubi are handling the broadcast, with comedian Kevin Hart stepping in as host. Beyond Brady’s involvement, the roster includes some serious talent. CeeDee Lamb, Rob Gronkowski, Tyreek Hill, Christian McCaffrey, and Saquon Barkley are all part of the lineup.
