Ireland Under-20s have climbed to second in the Six Nations table and kept alive hopes of a Triple Crown with a bonus-point win against Wales in an 12-try thriller in Cork.
Ireland wing Daniel Ryan crossed for two tries with further scores from flanker Josh Neill, number eight Diarmaid O'Connell, scrum-half Christopher Barrett, hooker Lee Fitzpatrick and replacement Duinn Maguire.
Wales, who have not won in Ireland in this tournament since 2018, secured an early 12-point lead with tries from hooker Tom Howe and wing Tom Bowen.
Flanker Caio James crossed for a second-half double, while Bowen grabbed another score.
After an opening round defeat against France, Ireland have bounced back with victories against Italy, England and Wales.
In contrast and despite encouraging displays, Wales have only beaten Scotland and suffered three losses, as Richard Whiffin's side remain fourth in the table before the final round of matches.
Ireland will face Scotland in Cork next Sunday on the same day Wales entertain Italy in Newport.
