MAKAZOLE MAPIMPI VENTURES INTO FASHION

Makazole is putting his love for fashion to good use. Known for his unorthodox way of putting his outfits together, the rugby player has channelled his passion towards launching his own fashion brand, Elevé. The range features the “Fall ’26 Collection”, themed “Where sport meets elevated streetwear”.

Makazole wrote the following caption on Instagram to mark his new fashion venture.

The next chapter of my journey has begun. Building a clothing brand has always been a dream of mine and it starts now!”

MAKAZOLE MAPIMPI: A FASHIONISTA OF NOTE

Makazole’s fashion style has garnered recognition from fashion magazines in South Africa. In 2025, he made the list for the GQ Magazine Best Dressed Classic Man list.

The Eastern Cape-born star does not shy away from splurging on a designer piece from time to time. In 2024, he was seen rocking Maison Margiela split-toe shoes worth over R20,000. 

In 2024, Garfield, a South African TikToker, shared his thoughts on Makazole’s style and declared: “Makazole Mapimpi has the best fashion sense out of all the rugby players ever, and you can’t convince me otherwise.”
