A recently-released Carolina Panthers defender may be seeking a bit of revenge.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, defensive lineman A'Shawn Robinson is set to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Per Rapoport, Robinson is expected to sign with Carolina's NFC South rivals on a one-year pact worth a fully-guaranteed $10 million.

The Panthers, in an expected move, officially parted ways with the 10-year veteran on Tuesday. Robinson's release saved the front office $10.5 million in salary cap space, giving them some much-needed room after their agreements with outside linebacker Jaelan Phillips and inside linebacker Devin Lloyd.
Robinson started in 33 of his 34 games with the Panthers over the last two seasons. He amassed 145 combined tackles, 8.0 sacks, 55 pressures, 65 stops, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and four passes defensed.
