The Denver Broncos had an average of 71,300 fans at their games in 2025 (home and away), the fourth-highest average in the NFL, according to data from ESPN.
Playing at home, Denver averaged 75,256 fans per game, the second-best average in the NFL, only behind the Green Bay Packers (77,848). Empower Field at Mile High, home of the Broncos, has a capacity of 76,125. The Packers' stadium, Lambeau Field, has a capacity of 81,441. So it seems that Denver could have gotten closer with a larger stadium.

The Broncos have sold out every home game since 1970, which the team describes as the "longest active streak for an NFL team that has stayed in one city." (The Packers have had stints in Milwaukee.) Denver's Empower Field at Mile High was voted the best overall game day experience in the NFL last season, and fans had plenty to cheer for as the club went 14-3 and claimed the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.

There's no word yet on a potential capacity for that upcoming stadium, but Denver figures to remain one of the best-attended teams in the NFL thanks to the club's passionate fanbase.
