Colby Covington accepts Arman Tsarukyan's RAF callout: 'Let's do it'
· Yahoo Sports
It looks like we might have a showdown between Arman Tsarukyan and Colby Covington.
Following his latest win at RAF Tsarukyan took the mic and called out Covington, a fellow UFC fighter. Tsarukyan defeated Georgio Poullas by points in the main event of RAF 07 on Saturday in Tampa, Fla. Immediately after, during his post-match interview with Chael Sonnen, Tsarukyan shot his shot with his former American Top Team teammate.

"There's one bullsh*t guy," Tsarukyan said. "He's talked he's wrestled me in the gym, but I've never seen him in the gym. Colby Covington: Stop trash talking. Let me beat your ass."
Covington, who beat Dillon Danis in the co-main event of RAF 07, responded to Tsarukyan at the RAF 07 post-match press conference. He is all in, but there might be some hurdles the two would need to cross with the UFC.
"Yeah, man. Let's do it," Covington said. "I would love to dunk him, give him a wedgie and stuff him in a locker. I love it. I think it's a great storyline, a great angle. We used to train together at one point at American Top Team, so I think it's a great matchup. The only one that has to sign off on it is UFC, so as long as UFC signs off on it, we can make it happen. But right now, they're blocking it. I'm going to have a talk with Hunter Campbell when the UFC comes to Miami in a couple of weeks, and we're going to get this situated because this is the fight the fans want, this is the match that RAF deserves, and it's the biggest match we can do."
Both Tsarukyan and Covington await bookings in the UFC. The last time Tsarukyan fought was back in December when he stopped Dan Hooker, and the last time Covington was seen in the octagon was in December 2024 when he suffered a TKO loss to Joaquin Buckley.
