The Atlanta Falcons loom as an intriguing team in 2026, with Tua Tagovailoa in the mix to be the starter for Kevin Stefanski.

With the Falcons already having some nice weapons in Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Bijan Robinson, Tua, if he does win the job, could have a nice group to work with.

But what if the Falcons got another weapon for either Tua or Michael Penix Jr.?

CBS Sports' Garrett Podell has named the Falcons as a potential landing spot for free agent receiver Jauan Jennings.

"Jennings could easily surpass both Jahan Dotson and Olamide Zaccheaus to be WR2 for the Atlanta Falcons in 2026 behind only Drake London," Podell wrote. "Stefanski runs an offense that is similar in structure to what Kyle Shanahan runs in San Francisco: an outside zone rushing offense built to create easy looks on play-action.

"Jennings could acclimate quickly to Atlanta's playbook, and he could also emerge as a key target in an NFC South division that's up for grabs every season."

Jennings a good addition in Atlanta?

Absolutely, and as Podell mentions, he already knows the scheme that Stefanski will likely use.

Plus, in his last two seasons, he's posted over 1,500 yards and 15 TDs, so Jennings was super productive.

If he can bring that to the table if he were in Atlanta, one could imagine the Falcons' offense going to a new level. Of course, getting Jennings in would be a costly exercise, but if the Falcons want to be contenders, a move like this makes sense.

It is a changing of the times in Atlanta, and bringing in Jennings could be a shrewd move by the Falcons.
