Whilst the interested clubs could be prepared to pay around €20 million to secure the young attacking midfielder’s services, Palmeiras are hoping to receive almost double that amount.
Although he has seen little action with the first team, despite playing a part in winning the Campeonato Paulista title this season (three appearances), Belé has particularly distinguished himself with Palmeiras’ Under-20 side. His performances were particularly impressive during the Copa Libertadores U20, in which the Brazilian side finished third.
Under contract with the São Paulo-based club until June 2028, the Flores da Cunha native also represents the Brazilian U20 national team, for whom he has scored two goals in five appearances.
Following in the footsteps of Endrick (19), Estêvão (18) and Vitor Reis (20) in recent years, Belé could well become one of Palmeiras’ future big-money transfers.
