Those hoping for a third meeting between the Michigan and Michigan State men's basketball teams didn't get it in the Big Ten tournament.

But, there's still a shot, and ESPN college basketball analyst Seth Greenberg is calling it.

Greenberg on Sunday picked the in-state rivals to meet for the national championship, with the Wolverines defeating the Spartans for the third — and most important — time this season.

Michigan and Michigan State are on opposite sides of the NCAA Tournament bracket, with the Wolverines the No. 1 seed in the Midwest, and Michigan State the No. 3 seed in the East. Both open tournament play in Buffalo, New York, with the Wolverines awaiting a First Four game winner between UMBC and Howard, and the Spartans taking on No. 14 seed North Dakota State.

Michigan won both regular-season meetings, 83-71 on Jan. 30 in East Lansing, and then 90-80 in the regular-season finale March 8 in Ann Arbor.
